According to government sources, over 180 million youth will enter workforce in India by 2035. Further, it is estimated that there will be 100 million jobs in the service sector by 2025. We aim to capitalize on the demographic advantage India has in its youth and train them in market-oriented skills.
We are skilling youth in market oriented jobs in over 10 trades across more than 20 locations. YES Foundation has skilled over 4,000 youth till date and the aim is to skill over 25,000 youth by 2026. Of these beneficiaries, at least 30% are women and we have achieved over 70% placements for the trained youth.
