Greening Highways

Under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' 'Adopt a Green Highway' initiative, YES Foundation entered into a tripartite agreement with Harit Path Pvt. Ltd. and YES BANK to adopt a 40-kilometer stretch along the Mumbai-Nashik Highway in 2017. We maintained >40,000 trees along this stretch for over five years. This endeavor contributed towards achieving India's environmental sustainability commitment to creating an additional carbon sink of 2.5 to 3 billion tons of CO2 equivalent by 2030.
